Support local communities in Peru by purchasing yarn!
About the Mirasol Yarn Project
The mission
of the Mirasol Yarn Project is to support local communities in Peru through
sales of Mirasol Yarn. The Mirasol Yarn Collection includes Peruvian Highland
merino wool, alpaca, llama, and highland wool.
Created in 2006, by Norwegian couple, Kari Hestnes and Per Svendsen, the Mirasol Project has helped in funding the Mirasol Boarding school, “an elementary school that currently boards more than 45 children of the area of Munani and Mallkini.” (Source)
